Transport Questions

It was great to get back in parliament today to answer questions about improvements being made to transport networks across the country.

I discussed the £20 million development of an outline business case for the Midland's Rail Hub, Project SPEED, infrastructure schemes around Lincoln and Cambridgeshire, and the £2 billion investment in walking and cycling.

This follows the Prime Minister's announcement of his vision to build back better Covid-19, by levelling up every corner of the UK, and boosting connectivity through improved transport infrastructure. I am delighted to be part of a government that is committed to bringing communities closer together, and eradicating regional inequalities.
