I am delighted to announce the launch of my first-ever 'Daventry Pub of the Year' Competition!
The competition is now open, and I am encouraging all Daventry residents to vote for their favourite pub. We have over 80 fantastic pubs across the constituency, all with their own unique history and friendly community.
Votes are open from Friday 1st July until 5pm on Sunday 28th August and are spread over four categories:
- Daventry Town Pub of the Year
- Village Pub of the Year
- Dog-Friendly Pub of the Year
- Beer Garden of the Year
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Saturday 3rd September 2022!
Pubs are at the heart of our communities here in Daventry and we all know how difficult the Pandemic was for them, with many getting in touch with me to share concerns about reduced footfall, rent payments, reduced opening hours, and industry support.
It is therefore important, now more than ever before, to support our locals so they are here for generations to come.
