In 2017 11-year-old Harrison Ballantyne from Crick and Guilsborough Academy tragically lost his life when he was electrocuted by overhead power cables whilst retrieving a lost football from Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT).

 What a lovely day at the 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 on Saturday!

 Well done to everyone involved who helped make the egg-cellent Easter Market a success.

It was lovely to attend my first Iftar at Daventry's Mosque on Friday. Thank you Daventry Muslim Association for the invitation the food was superb!

 Millions of people in receipt of a qualifying DWP benefit will soon receive the first Cost of Living Payment for 2023/24, worth £301.

 Payments are automatic and will be made between 25 April and 17 May.

 I had a superb time at E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form recently when I was invited to attend a Q&A.

I recently visited Moulton College to meet Principal Corrie Harris and Chair of Governors David McVean and I was pleased to hear all about the college's exciting plans for the year ahead!

Last Saturday, I held my third coffee morning of 2023 at the Village Hall in Spratton. Including experiencing the sonic boom! Thank you to everyone who was able to come along.
