It was lovely to catch up with Andrea White, Headteacher at The Parker E-ACT Academy in Daventry on Friday. 

The school is going from strength to strength and I was pleased to hear all about Parker's exciting plans for the year ahead.

I was very impressed by all the many talented young artists with their creative designs for this years' Christmas Card Competition!

I've been informed of a number of road closures around the Woodford Halse area from October 2022 to April 2023 whilst essential gas main replacements are carried out.

My 2022 local Christmas card competition is now open to all primary school-aged children in the Daventry constituency!

Support for Pubs

During my recent Daventry Pub of the Year Awards, I had the opportunity to chat with pubs over the issues worrying them most this winter. Naturally, the price of energy was top of the agenda which is why I’m pleased to see a package of support for pubs announced.

The Government has today announced a series of measures which will help create jobs, increase wages and encourage investment.

I was delighted to recently to bump into three Northampton College students in Daventry who are taking Politics as part of their A-Level options!
