Chris Heaton-Harris MP attends Bliss Report Launch Event

Chris Heaton-Harris, MP for Daventry, attended Bliss’ parliamentary event on Tuesday 20 October 2015. The reception was organised by Bliss, the special care baby charity, to launch Bliss baby report 2015: hanging in the balance. The report shows that there is a severe shortage of neonatal nurses and doctors, meaning units are not meeting national standards on safe staffing levels for premature and sick babies.

Chris Heaton-Harris MP puts in all-action effort in Charity Clash with Men United XI

Chris Heaton-Harris MP produced a solid performance for the UK Parliamentary Football Team (UKPFC) against Prostate Cancer UK’s Men United XI at Fulham’s Motspur Park this Tuesday 14th July. In a competitive clash in South London, the Parliamentarians, captained by Clive Betts, MP for Sheffield South East, were beaten 6-2 despite a valiant performance. Had fate (and the referees) not intervened for a total of 3 disallowed goals, the resulting score of 6-5 would have much more accurately reflected the Parliamentarians’ effort!
