I am delighted to announce the 'Daventry Pub of the Year' Competition 2023 is now open!
The competition, now in its second year, is a fantastic opportunity for Daventry residents to show our locals some love! We have over 80 pubs across the constituency, all with their own unique history and friendly community, and this competition is a great way to recognise those who have gone above and beyond in our area.
Votes are open from Saturday 1st July until 5 pm on Monday 28th August and are spread over four categories:
- Daventry Town Pub of the Year
- Village Pub of the Year
- Dog-Friendly Pub of the Year
- Beer Garden of the Year
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Sunday 3rd September 2023!
Pubs are at the heart of our communities here in Daventry and we all know how difficult the pandemic was for them, with many getting in touch with me to share concerns about reduced footfall, rent payments, reduced opening hours, and industry support.
It is therefore important, now more than ever before, to support our locals so they are here for generations to come.
