Update on Crime in Brixworth

As many of you will be aware, recently there has been an increasing concern with crime in Brixworth. I have previously written an open letter on this which you can find below. I have also previously assured that I will continue to update constituents on this matter.

National Offer Day for Reception and Year 3 Junior Schools

As you may be aware it was National Offer Day for parents/carers who have applied for a place to start in Reception at Infant and Primary schools and in Year 3 at Junior Schools in Northamptonshire in September 2019. 

National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Competition

Primary schools across Daventry are being encouraged to take part in a national competition to raise awareness of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning. I am encouraging all local schools to take part.

Resignation from Government

After much contemplation, I have decided to leave Theresa May's Government. I'm grateful to the Prime Minister for giving me the opportunity to serve the UK and I will continue to represent my constituents as the Member of Parliament for Daventry.

Money back for Broadband and Landline Customers

Previously, only around one in seven broadband or landline customers who suffer delayed repairs, installations or missed engineer appointments have received compensation from their provider; and even then, only in small amounts.

Crime in Spratton

I am aware and deeply concerned by the recent spike in crime around the Spratton area. I have also recently been dealing with a similar situation in the village of Brixworth.
