High Street Saturday will take place on the 16th March. It is a new campaign day and aims to celebrate the place of high streets at the heart of communities like Daventry across the country. As part of the day, local people are being encouraged to:

Ravensthorpe Post Office set to Temporarily Close

The current Postmaster in Ravensthorpe has informed the Post Office that they are not planning to sell the business, so they will now begin the search for a replacement Postmaster.

Improvements to 'Street Doctor'

The name’s the same but Street Doctor is about to work better for everyone. For many years, online reporting has allowed customers to tell Northamptonshire Highways about a transport or highway issue directly, and to see what they are doing about it.

Increased Winter Gritting Services

Winter gritting services across Northamptonshire are to be increased by Northamptonshire County Council.

The changes will be introduced in the current financial year and will see the introduction of a new intermediate gritting network.
