Chris Heaton-Harris MP walks the beat with PCSO Jane Coaley

On Friday 2nd May 2014, Chris met up with PCSO Jane Coaley to walk with her around Woodford Halse. He met with many constituents and was pleased to discuss both local and national issues with them; most notably the proposed housing development which many constituents had written to the House of Commons about outlining their concerns and to which Chris has submitted his own objection.

Chris Heaton-Harris MP held a productive meeting with Envrionment Agency officials, representatives from Northamptonshire County Council and local constituents in Nether Heyford, to discuss concerns relating to recent flooding and flood alleviation.

MPs vs Prostate Cancer Football Match -Chris Heaton-Harris MP

Chris Heaton-Harris MP participated in a charity football match for surivors and those effected by prostate cancer.  The teams comprised of members from the House of Commons versus members of the all-star team of Prostate Cancer UK supporters. The final score was UK Parliamentary Football Club 6 to 5 Men United.

Dozens of families affected by the same medical condition converged in Daventry on Saturday for an annual meeting. Support4SDR is for families and people with, or affected by, selective dorsal rhizotomy, a treatment used for a symptom of cerebral palsy.

Chris Heaton-Harris MP Awarded Parliamentary Beer Champion

Chris Heaton-Harris MP was presented with a special award for his support for British beer. Paul Mulliner from Nobby’s Brewery in Guilsborough, handed him a Parliamentary Beer Champion certificate and celebrated the achievement with a pint of Guilsborough Gold.

The 2014 Budget- Some Key Points

This Budget is part of our long-term economic plan to give economic security to the families of Britain. The single biggest risk would be to abandon the plan and listen to Labour’s calls to borrow more, spend more and put up taxes. That would put families’ economic security at risk.
