Changes to Benefit Allowances for PIP and ESA Recipients

As chair of the APPG on Learning Disability, I recently wrote to the Department for Work & Pension expressing my concerns regarding the upcoming changes to the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Work Capability Assessment (WCA) and support provided by the Health and Work Programme. Daventry Area Community Transport Minibus

Chris Heaton-Harris MP recently received notification from Andrew Jones MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Transport that Daventry Area Community Transport were successful in securing funding from the Department's Community Transport Minibus Fund and a minibus was delivered to them on 18 April.

Daventry Hill School Funding

Chris recently wrote to the Secretary of State concerning the funding of Daventry Hill School in his constituency. Lord Nash, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Schools, responded this week to say that the funding has been approved.
