30/12/2015: Following the meeting of the APPG for Learning Disability on 5th November 2015, concerning the Welfare Reform and Work Bill and the possible effects of the Bill on those with learning disabilities, Chris wrote to the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) to learn what assessment had been done on this topic. Below is a response from the Rt. Hon Priti Patel MP, the Minister for Employment at the DWP.

However, after being made a Government Whip, Chris had to step down from this role. Whip's are unfortunately unable to hold an elected role on APPG's but he plans to still follow developments on this campaign very closely.
